I still stay with her until she's about to conk out. But she's pretty happy about it all now. She only cried for a total of 15 minutes last night, and about 5 minutes for her morning nap today, and for her afternoon nap she didn't cry even once! And both naps today were a shocking 1 hr 15 mins! That NEVER happens!

I still bring her into my bed for the early morning feeding tho. Not ready to give up at least a partial co-sleeping. :)

-AmyAmyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15183354814224320009noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1951397308280408930.post-11524184118925710532010-02-12T14:32:10.823-08:002010-02-12T14:32:10.823-08:00Amy, though I couldn't hack it for Asa, I prof...Amy, though I couldn't hack it for Asa, I profoundly agree that *you* know what is right for Victoria. You're a loving Mama and you understand her needs (and yours) better than anyone. Here's a hug for you!
ParisMrs. Ghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06356736479776982230noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1951397308280408930.post-51714717205000900762010-02-10T08:30:35.023-08:002010-02-10T08:30:35.023-08:00Hi Jackie! I sort of did it last night, because she went to sleep pretty easily, and only woke up twice -- and both times she cried, but it wasn't a full-out cry and it didn't last very long. I imagine maybe she gets a little freaked out when she wakes up and is in that big ol' crib all alone. I make sure and go to her immediately if she whimpers or peeps or cries -- but I don't usually talk/sing to her unless she's really starting to cry hard.

It's been SO hard not picking her up and cuddling her. I could really do it all day if I let myself. But then NOTHING would get done around here. :)Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15183354814224320009noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1951397308280408930.post-4536449746192639982010-02-09T05:17:56.586-08:002010-02-09T05:17:56.586-08:00Hi,

Just do it without talking or singing to her. She should get the idea that it is quiet time.
Good luck
JackieJackiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14641103904450902851noreply@blogger.com
